About Joanna Świrska (Dżo Lama)
Joanna Świrska, who tattoos as Dżo Lama, is a Polish painter and tattoo artist known for delicate illustrative tattoos inspired by plants, mushrooms, animals and surrealism, often executed in bold black linework with accents of color. She owns Nasza Tattoo Shop in Wrocław and co-founded Amanita Art Village, a tattoo retreat in the Izera Mountains of Lower Silesia that combines tattooing with sauna, vegetarian food and overnight accommodation. Her work has been profiled by Colossal, My Modern Met and TheVandallist.
