The experience with Flytrap tattoo, from 1st contact on Instagram until I walked out the door after getting tattooed, was very wholesome. I was in Cape Town on holiday for a week and reached out to a couple of places explaining what I wanted and Kyle’s response was just so warm, polite and friendly, which you would expect to be the minimum, but not all tattoo professionals are this way. I’ve also been seen very quickly considering my tight schedule. Each artist has their own style and do amazing designs, personally I’ve been looked after by Bad Juju, coming with something personal and with my own handwriting. The level of care and precision she applied was impressive. Kyle and the team even stepped in to have a look and make sure it all looked good on me, even though what I was getting was one small word on my shoulder. They’re a proper team, and perfectionist, making sure I’m completely happy about that permanent souvenir. The end result was perfection, like I had written on my shoulder myself. All through the session, which only lasted a few mn, Bad Juju was super friendly, asking about the significance of my design, we were just having conversations like mates meeting for a drink! On top of that, their unit is really nice, spacious, lots of light, clean, makes you feel quite at ease. They vow to make everyone comfortable, whether you’re getting your 6th big old school piece on your thigh, or a first little tattoo on the wrist. I can only recommend this place.

Hi had a wonderful experience with the team at Flytrap Tatoo. The atmosphere is really calming and friendly and the team is passionate about their work. Julia did a wonderful job customer my Tatoo and is very gentle. I strongly recommend working with them

I can’t express enough the care and professionalism that I experienced with uber talented tattoo artist Angela. My wife and I spent the day at Flytrap Tattoos and the staff was welcoming and friendly. I will definitely return to finish my sleeve when I’m back in Cape Town.

What an amazing experience getting some artwork done at Journey Through Ink. Jemma and Kiever were exceptional artists, professional and made us feel welcome. Got a full sleeve with a cover up and could not be happier. Moved over seas now but will for sure visit them again when back in SA. If you're in the Western Cape, they're your artists🤘 Thanks for the amazing work guys. Lots of love to you.

I was recently in Cape Town for the South Africa Burlesque Festival and decided that I wanted to get a tattoo while out there. The name was what first drew me to the studio however it was viewing the artists portfolios that sealed the deal. I reached out to the studio prior to my trip and based off my design idea they assigned me a tattoo artist that fit the style. Communication was seamless from the owners to the tattoo artist to create the perfect design. Kyle was the artist I worked with and he created by far my now favorite tattoo. I was in the shop for a two day session to make sure it was complete. From start to finish I am beyond happy with the experience I had so much that I’ll be back for more tattoos. Pictures don’t do it justice as it’s still healing however I attached a few to share. Thank you so much for everything.
