YM Tattoo Studio was an absolute highlight of my Seoul trip! My mom, sister, and I are visiting from California, and one day we decided to explore Hongdae, where my mom had gone to college over 50 years ago. I had been wanting to visit YM Tattoo Studio for a while, and it was the perfect opportunity to try for a walk-in. To my delight, they welcomed me! I finally got a tattoo in Korea from the incredibly skilled Ato. The studio has a very relaxed vibe, and getting a simple heart + arrow with 엄마 (meaning “mom” in Hangul) was a breeze. I’ve been waiting for years to get my first big piece so I decided to wait until I went to Korea. I came across this place. Their designs are incredible as well as their customer service and English communication. I am beyond happy with my tattoo and glad I waited as long as I did. I recommend this Tattoo shop for any tattoo big or small. The artist is not heavy handed and felt like he was simply drawing on my arm. Next time I come to Korea I will be back for another one. Thank you for everything.
