Deposit
A partial payment made to secure a tattoo appointment. Typically 10-30% of the total price. Usually non-refundable if the client cancels without adequate notice.

Deposits protect artists from no-shows and last-minute cancellations. They are deducted from the final price of the tattoo. If an artist cancels on you, you should receive a full refund.
