My best friend and I knew we wanted to get tattoos done together while I was visiting her here in Sweden, and I am so glad we discovered beehive studio and Malu!! She did such a beautiful job, working closely with us both to ensure our designs were personal and exactly how we wanted them! The entire studio was so comfortable and clean, with water, coffee, tea and candy available as well!! If you’re getting your first tattoo or a tattoo veteran, this is the place to go for an all around amazing experience!

My best friend and I knew we wanted to get tattoos done together while I was visiting her here in Sweden, and I am so glad we discovered beehive studio and Malu!! She did such a beautiful job, working closely with us both to ensure our designs were personal and exactly how we wanted them! The entire studio was so comfortable and clean, with water, coffee, tea and candy available as well!! If you’re getting your first tattoo or a tattoo veteran, this is the place to go for an all around amazing experience!

The studio is clean and well maintained, and the resident artists were welcoming. However, I am sad to say I had a really disappointing experience. I was booked in with a guest artist and travelled from oversees for this. The artist arrived an hour late as they said they wanted to sleep. They then had several breaks for a smoke and coffee, and only started the tattoo an hour and a half later. The whole session ended up taking 4 hours for a small 8cm tattoo. I found it really unprofessional and disrespectful of my time, as I had to move a planned meeting. Thankfully I know how to care for tattoos as no aftercare instructions were given, and the wrapping fell off immediately, leaving the tattoo exposed and very red. The artist then messaged and suggested I hadn’t paid, which was false. I did this while in the studio and showed the confirmation in front of them, which they said they had received successfully and checked before I left. I have since also sent copies of bank statement and PayPal receipt confirmation to clearly show that the balance was transferred. If you are local do consider booking with resident artists but be cautious about guest artists or visiting while travelling.

Beehive is the cutest studio I’ve been to so far! It’s light and cozy and it will give you good vibes for sure. Vicky was so kind to tattoo me even on a very short notice, for which I am so grateful. I’m in love with my bee and cannot wait for it to heal! 🥰🐝 Thank you so much, Vicky!

Getting a tattoo in Stockholm was one of the most spontaneous and fun parts of our trip. We coordinated with Bee Hive Studio over Instagram a few days in advance, and they made it so easy to set up time for both me and my boyfriend’s sister. The team was warm and welcoming when we arrived, and the space had a relaxed vibe that immediately put us at ease. Malu, our artist, was fantastic. She listened to our ideas, adjusted the design thoughtfully during the consultation, and her line work was next-level — some of the cleanest I’ve ever seen. My dala horse tattoo came out beautifully detailed (photo attached). If you’re thinking about getting a meaningful, well-done piece while in Stockholm, this is absolutely the place to go.
